Material Handler - 1st Shift
Brady Corporation – Full‑time, Entry level.
Responsibilities
Operate a reach truck, sitting or standing forklift, pallet jacks, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
Transfer and prepare materials between work centers and the warehouse.
Maintain inventory accuracy for raw, semi‑finished, and finished goods.
Record and enter production and material data into the SAP system.
Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Perform in‑process inspections and general housekeeping.
Execute accurate paperwork, labeling, packaging, and material transactions.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of reach‑truck experience (1–2 years desired).
Valid lift truck license.
Must be able to safely transfer flammable and hazardous materials.
Must lift steel shafts up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and work ethic.
Work independently and in a team environment.
Strong safety consciousness and willingness to be cross‑trained.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience in material handling or a related field (1–2 years).
