Duties
Safe and efficient operation of production equipment to include sterile sealed bag filling and packaging equipment.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) in detail without deviation.
Collect routine product samples and perform routine pouch seal integrity testing to inspect the seals for leaks and defects to ensure quality specifications are met.
Set‑up and use the appropriate film and film size in accordance with the production run schedule.
Meet customer order and demand plan on a daily basis, per established key performance indicators.
Set‑up coders, ink, and validate product codes in accordance with code specifications.
Identify and immediately communicate out‑of‑specification product conditions to a supervisor.
Perform routine equipment inspections and adjustments.
Safe operation of a pallet jack and forklift.
Accurately and neatly complete production records and documents, based on frequency and document controls.
Perform equipment change‑overs, film size changes, CIP/SIP, clean‑up and equipment set‑up.
Perform equipment and area environmental controls.
Perform product reclaim and rework operations in accordance with reclaim guidelines.
Support internal and external audits.
Follow all established occupational health and safety procedures.
Follow all established GMPs and Food Safety requirements.
Cross‑train with other departments.
Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.
Comply with federal, state, and local dairy food regulations.
Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics, actively applying the Saputo Company Values.
Work together with co‑workers and other department personnel.
Other duties as required by management.
Hourly Rate: $23.85
