Job Responsibilities
Saw Operation: Operate saw machinery as required. Use of tape measure and angles for accurate cuts. Set up saws according to specifications for each production run. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment. Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality checks to verify accuracy and precision of cut parts; identify and report issues or defects; collaborate with the quality control team to maintain high standards. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance on saws and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs or adjustments. Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines; report safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor. Collaboration: Work with production staff and supervisors to achieve production goals and communicate effectively with relevant personnel. Documentation: Maintain production records, logs, and any adjustments. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and productivity. Safety: Support Barletta Safe culture by advocating for safe behaviors and identifying risk opportunities. Qualifications
Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position (standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting up to 40 lbs, etc.) for 8+ hours. Ability to adapt to climate, both indoor and outdoor environments. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow policies and procedures and wear required PPE. Ability to multi-task while remaining calm under pressure. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and motivation to meet or exceed production goals. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed and take on additional assignments to support production goals. Excellent attendance and reliability. Compensation and Benefits
