Ervin Cable Construction, LLC seeks a Telecom Aerial Foreman to lead the safe, quality installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecommunications systems. The foreman will serve as the on‑site expert, guiding and supporting less experienced crew members while ensuring regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do Plan and execute installation, maintenance, or repair of fiber/telecom cables and support structures in accordance with applicable codes and customer requirements. Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, diggers, and excavators safely. Maintain clear and safe traffic flows around the work area. Work safely at heights using climbing hooks, ladders, and proper rigging. Use hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws. Provide guidance and instruction to crew members. Respond to short‑notice storm‑response assignments. Complete daily work orders, crew checks, and safety documentation. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need 18 years of age or older. Authorization to work in the United States. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record. Pass a DOT physical exam to receive a valid medical card. Minimum of 3 years of related work experience. Certification as a pole climber or willingness to obtain it. Preferred: CDL Class A driver license.
Physical Abilities & Exposures Regularly work with arms above shoulder level, at heights, in confined and remote spaces, operating vehicle and heavy machinery; lift >55 lbs, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and climb. Occasionally use keyboard and mouse.
