As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you will assist in daily living activities: health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and documentation (shift reports, incident reports, progress reports). You will maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of the individuals we serve.
Responsibilities
Support individuals with daily living tasks, ensuring safety and dignity.
Document care and progress accurately and consistently.
Participate in crisis prevention and intervention procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver person‑centered care.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (foreign diplomas evaluated).
1 year of human service experience with children, adolescents, or adults is preferred.
Minimum age 21.
Valid driver's license.
Empathetic, team‑player with strong written and verbal communication.
Understanding of behavior management and positive reinforcement.
Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, lift 75–100 lbs, and use computer equipment.
