Customer Service Associate - Temporary
Walgreens is seeking a temporary Customer Service Associate to provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience in a retail environment. This position is full‑time and located in San Francisco, CA. The role remains open until filled.
Base Pay Range $16.50/hr – $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
Provide courteous, friendly, efficient checkout service on the assigned cash register.
Engage customers, greet them, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions.
Recommend merchandise, trade‑ups, or companion items to increase sales.
Process sales transactions, returns, voids, refunds and rain checks accurately.
Maintain the cleanliness and merchandising of counters, shelves, and displays.
Use store systems and equipment, perform inventory checks, and update records.
Adhere to company asset‑protection procedures and comply with state and local laws on regulated products.
Assist with photo services, pick‑up responsibilities, and exterior/ interior store maintenance.
Comply with all company policies, maintain respectful coworker relationships, and complete special assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English (except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred: Six months of experience in a retail environment.
Preferred: Prior experience working with Walgreens.
Training & Development
Attend required training and complete Pharmacy Product Lab (PPL) training as assigned.
