Overview Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Meat Clerk in the Houston-Fulton store. The store is a vibrant retail environment located at 4114 FULTON ST., HOUSTON, TX 77009.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
Assist customers and clean shelves and display cases.
Clean, fill, and rotate the Meat Wrap displays.
Work with customers to take special orders and work with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut.
Under direct supervision, assist customers, clean shelves, and display cases.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish/English and interact with the general public and co-workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 45 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra).
Retail Management Certificate (extra).
