Rechtien International Trucks, Inc. is seeking a Porter to support the maintenance of our Fort Myers, FL facility for our Idealease division.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the property’s cleanliness and orderliness, as well as shuttling trucks to and from customers and test‑driving medium to heavy‑duty trucks for the Idealease Team. Assist with organizing trucks and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Perform general custodial duties to keep the shop clean. The candidate will also support the Idealease Service Department by ensuring the premises’ safety, operating tools and equipment, and assisting with the day‑to‑day operations that support an efficient customer experience.
Clean shop and campus grounds daily to maintain an orderly, safe work environment and debris‑free grounds according to company policy
Monitor status of waste fluids and metal containers and coordinate with appropriate vendors for disposal when required
Manage the property’s cleanliness and orderliness, including all external facility areas and service shop
Ensure premises safety, operating tools and equipment, and support mechanics
Full‑time, hourly paid structure
Mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools and shop equipment is a plus
Forklift certification: not required but a plus
Florida CDL License required; CDL "A" preferred, "B" accepted
Other tasks as assigned
