Overview We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to monitor inventory and movement to ensure warehouse accuracy. The role also monitors General Manufacturing Procedures to guarantee adherence to guidelines.
Shift M‑Th 2:00 pm – 12:30 am. OT two times per month, including Friday & Saturday at the same times.
Responsibilities
Conduct cycle counts in assigned warehouse/shipping line locations on a daily basis.
Conduct location audits on assigned areas with a high degree of recurring errors.
Research and correct transfer errors and inventory variances, then notify responsible person(s).
Complete requisitions for various departments.
Monitor auto relief; research and correct all auto relief errors.
Maintain obsolete inventory.
Answer and/or resolve inventory questions from various departments (e.g., Purchasing, Forecasting, Information Services, Accounting).
Enter all adjustments and returns movements.
Additional Duties
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Qualifications
Helpful to have knowledge of JDE/High Jump systems.
Ability to work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Can lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
Standing, sitting and/or walking for the duration of the shift.
Pulling, stretching, bending and lifting for the duration of the shift.
Visually read bottles, tote tags, etc.
Manual dexterity for collating, sorting, filing, writing, etc.
Three (3) months or more previous inventory control experience helpful.
Knowledge of computers and related software.
Excellent basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Ability to perform essential duties with efficiency and accuracy.
