Mitsubishi Electric Trane US . 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; may adjust for seasonality). Location: Florence, NJ (Inbound operation). Position Summary: Responsible for warehousing and distribution management in an HVAC Distribution Center (DC), including inbound, returns, damages, training, and recruiting. Essential Functions
Execute a flawless DC operation for Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC. Accomplish warehouse human resource objectives: selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies. Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer‑service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements. Conduct performance evaluations of subordinates and provide constructive feedback. Approve time sheets and time‑off schedules; schedule associates to meet business needs. Lead continuous improvement in safety, audit readiness, and efficiencies. Provide coverage support when needed; assist DC Manager with financial standards and budgeting. Manage inventory transfers, supervise associates, maintain safety standards, support EHS audits. Deliver supplies and equipment; organize storage area and improve layout. Foster strong safety culture and support Safety Committee and EHS leadership. Maintain equipment operation and repair. Inspect inbound/outbound loads for compliance and discrepancy tracking. Maintain RF and portable printer stock, perform other assigned duties. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; BS preferred. 5+ years of experience in a distribution environment. 5+ years managing a team. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Forklift certification/License required. ERP/SAP experience required. Strong customer service orientation; highly organized with focus on deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; excellent teamwork and alignment with METUS core values. Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $35.00 – $48.13 per hour (varying by location and experience). May include target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Eligible for 401(k), medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 80 hours vacation, 56 hours paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, up to 12 weeks parental or disability leave, and other benefits.
