Description Basic operation and knowledge of designated simulation systems or components of the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and/or follow-on systems.
Typical duties include:
Initialize and prepare simulation systems including cold start and shutdown procedures.
Ensure accuracy of exercise data and databases.
Maintain system logs.
Build rotational scenario database products.
Coach unit personnel.
Make modifications to scenarios as directed.
Operate a Warfighter’s Simulation (WARSIM) Battle Space Work Station (BSWS), and/or configure the WARSIM Mission Command Adapter, and/or operate the Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE).
Perform additional duties as directed and learn new systems as required.
Requirements Required
Travel unaccompanied to continental U.S. and foreign locations.
Possess active security clearance.
Lifting computer equipment up to 30 pounds as needed.
Subject to pre-employment drug screening.
Minimum two years experience supporting military training or operations.
Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Experience with at least one of the following: Army Digital Battle Command & Control systems, Intelligence Surveillance or Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms or products, distributed military simulations (DIS and/or HLA).
Desired Experience
A+ certifications such as A+, Network+, Linux+, CCNA, MCSA, or MCSE.
Associate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent field.
Digital Master Gunner Trained.
Minimum two years experience with military exercises integrating live-virtual-constructive training.
ARCGiS experience.
