Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co. is a world leader in manufacturing fire sprinklers and system valves. We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Material Handler to support our distribution center operations in Kent, WA.
Responsibilities
Store, ship, receive, and replenish finished goods for fire sprinkler contractors via parcel, LTL, truckload, and private carrier.
Operate forklifts, lift trucks, side loaders, pallet trucks, pickers, and other loading/stacking equipment.
Scan barcodes with handheld scanners to deliver materials to target locations within the warehouse.
Execute daily forklift inspections and maintain accurate inspection reports.
Assist will‑call customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
Report deficiencies in inventory, equipment, or safety issues to the Warehouse or Operations Supervisor.
Report backorders to the Customer Service Department.
Promote a safe workplace by complying with all safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment.
Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience.
Skills and Competencies
Outstanding organization and documentation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to a team environment.
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Knowledge of Reliable Automatic Sprinkler products, part numbers, and codes.
Well‑versed in warehouse, shipping, freight, and receiving functions.
Proficient in AS400 and WMS.
Solid understanding of mathematics.
