Role Overview The Ambassador role is not a front desk receptionist behind a desk; it’s about owning the guest experience with character, ensuring no need goes unmet and every visit becomes special. At Aparium, the Ambassador is an exquisite host, ready to arrange surprise proposals, give tours to curious neighbors, or maneuver a bell cart. They know the ins and outs of both the hotel and surrounding community, bringing a gracious demeanor that makes every guest in the lobby feel at ease. This position turns details into recognition and actions that make each stay a personal, one‑of‑a‑kind experience.
The ideal candidate will have open availability from 7 AM to 11 PM, work up to three weekends per month, and can work full or part‑time as needed.
What You Will Do
Demonstrate passion and genuine care for all aspects of a guest’s experience, handling all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
Own all aspects of a guest’s experience from arrival through departure, ensuring accurate reservation details, recommending local experiences, and ascertaining satisfaction throughout.
Accommodate special requests whenever possible, using sound judgment even when it requires bending protocol for the guest.
Serve as the tour guide for all hotel experiences, uncovering each guest’s preferences to add a personalized touch.
Demonstrate mastery of the hotel’s systems for accurate and timely information across all guest communication channels.
Be fanatical about details, ensuring all requests are delivered and no aspects are overlooked for a seamless experience.
Prioritize guest satisfaction, adjusting actions as needed and wearing a variety of hats—from bellman to valet or greeter—depending on the situation.
Display professionalism and discretion in all interactions, maintaining a calm and engaging presence.
Apply expert knowledge of service standards and procedures to independently resolve concerns and proactively suggest recommendations to the Guest Service Manager.
Collaborate effectively with coworkers and other departments, resolving conflicts cooperatively and responding to feedback.
Seize opportunities to exceed expectations by assisting guests, helping coworkers, cross‑training, or fulfilling reasonable manager requests.

What You Will Need
Passion for the people, place, and culture of our community.
Minimum of one year of guest/customer service experience for luxury goods or services, or comparable combination of education and experience.
Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word for creating spreadsheets or proposals.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for guest luggage and push a bell cart with up to 100 lbs of luggage.
Willingness to work variable shifts that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
