Assist in managing a pizza store, overseeing daily operations, ensuring product quality, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Operate all equipment, including ovens, dough mixers, and dough sheeters.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product, including dough assembly, slicing, and assembly of ingredients.
Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Provide orientation and training to new employees.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
Make correct monetary change and process orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Motor coordination to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.
Under adverse weather conditions, maintain safe delivery and in‑store operations.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift.
Lift up to 50 pounds, carry trays, and push and pull dollies.
Climb stairs and navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
Forward bending, crouching, and squatting at the pizza assembly station and front counter.
Reach above 72 inches to turn on/off oven controls and change prices on signs.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
Excellent communication, math, and computer skills.
Ability to work under stress and meet strict quality control standards.
Experience in a fast‑paced food service environment preferred.
