Base pay range $26.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Description Description:

The Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts across Holliday Rock to ensure the organization attracts and hires the best talent possible. Working under the direction of the Talent Manager and VP of Human Resources, the Recruiter collaborates with hiring managers and HR team members to source, screen, and proactively onboard candidates. The ideal candidate is resourceful, collaborative, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with a passion for connecting talent with opportunity.

Essential Functions of the Position

TALENT ACQUISITION: Manages the full recruitment life cycle, including job postings, resume screening, candidate interviews, and offer negotiations.

SOURCING: Actively sources candidates through various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, networking events) to maintain a strong talent pipeline.

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE: Ensures a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding.

HIRING MANAGER SUPPORT: Partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and guide them through the interview and selection process.

RECRUITMENT METRICS: Tracks and reports key hiring metrics (time‑to‑fill, source of hire, etc.) to support data‑driven recruitment decisions.

HRIS & COMPLIANCE: Maintains accurate candidate records in the HRIS (UKG or equivalent). Ensures hiring practices comply with company policies and employment regulations.

ONBOARDING: Collaborates with the Human Resources Representative in onboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.

EMPLOYER BRANDING: Promotes Holliday Rock’s culture and values to attract top talent through digital presence, outreach efforts, and job fairs.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION: Supports diversity recruitment strategies and ensures fair and inclusive hiring practices.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Recommends and implements improvements to recruiting strategies, systems, and processes.

Skills and Knowledge

High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.

1–3 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience preferred.

Familiarity with federal and state employment laws related to hiring.

Experience using applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms such as UKG.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Requirements

Must have a valid Class C driver’s license.

Ability to travel to job fairs, recruitment events, and other company locations.

Comfortable working in both office and field settings.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
