Sr. Maintenance Technician - Facilities Reliability
Join Chick‑fil‑A Supply as a Sr. Maintenance Technician. You will report to the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor on the shift and perform day‑to‑day maintenance activities for the CFA Supply Distribution Center building envelope, equipment, occupied space, and common areas. You’ll work closely with the Maintenance team, operations, plant staff, truck drivers, equipment operators, Safety, Quality, and Compliance Lead.

Responsibilities
Perform day‑to‑day inspections, preventative, reactive, and predictive maintenance of building envelope, equipment, and common areas.
Maintain equipment per manufacturer specs, work order instructions, and warranty agreements.
Escalate maintenance issues that cannot be resolved timely.
Conduct maintenance activities in a reliable, cost‑effective manner while complying with safety, quality, compliance, and industry standards as per CFA SOPs.
Identify recurring problems impacting asset life and propose solutions.
Enter financial and operational data into CMMS and related financial systems accurately and timely.
Perform off‑shift critical work and emergency repairs when needed.
Participate in selection of spare parts, tools, and equipment, and help determine inventory levels.
Maintain and safeguard maintenance and facilities records.
Support CFA Supply Sustainment initiatives to reduce energy consumption and waste generation.
Coordinate and communicate with site leadership regarding activities that may impact operations or safety.
Potentially act as Maintenance Lead on weekend shifts.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (Associate degree or certification a plus).
7+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing and distribution operations or similar (10+ years with supervisory experience).
Proficiency in equipment maintenance, mechanical design, and assembly.
Multi‑skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines, including hydraulic maintenance, with troubleshooting experience.
Experience with blueprints and shop drawings.
Uncompromising commitment to food safety and overall safety.
Self‑starter capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
Leadership experience – leading and coaching maintenance teams.
Availability for on‑call support and shift flexibility.
Team player, able to work independently when necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills; intermediate computer skills.
Engineering background and automation maintenance experience, including troubleshooting.
Experience with Building Systems, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, Rail Systems, Ammonia Refrigeration, Robotics, CMM.
Knowledge of SQC requirements and industry standards such as ISO 55000.
Quick and versatile learner, adaptable, open to change.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation (5S practices, Total Preventative Maintenance, Visual Factory).
