Millwright - Maintenance Technician

About The Position
Maintain and repair all mechanical parts and machinery in a manufacturing facility.
Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines and equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Dismantle machinery and locate causes of malfunctions, replace parts from stock or fabricate replacements as needed.
Fabricate machine components for repairs and improvements.
Conduct diagnostic tests to ensure optimal system functionality.
Assemble, install, and proactively maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment for efficient operation.
Operate arc welder, cutting torch, hand tools, forklift, and welding truck.
Fabricate, weld, mill, and lathe as required.
Perform general maintenance safely, keeping a clean work area.
Work may include various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays during busy production times.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of verifiable related work history or equivalent education.
Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs.
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and bearings.
Ability to recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects.
Industrial mill maintenance experience is a plus.
