Material Handler – 3rd Shift

as a Material Handler and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate receipt of materials into the plant.
Responsibilities
Receive all raw materials into SAFT's material planning database.
Unload raw materials delivered by freight carriers.
Unload materials delivered to the outside and off‑site warehouse.
Physically transfer stock from the receiving dock to SO2 metals rip locations.
Key all transactions into appropriate stock and rip locations.
Receive and organize items returned from customers, transferring them to the MRB holding area.
Notify planners of damaged material shipments and shortages.
Provide backup for Material Handler, Shipping Coordinator, and MRO Clerk as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; experience with computerized inventory systems is a plus.
Ability to operate a forklift/aisle stacker within 30 days of assignment.
Basic knowledge of the local business and hazardous materials shipping/RCRA requirements.
