What You’ll Do
Observe and comply with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements. Participate in needs analysis and attend scheduled training and educational programs. Support independent objective auditing activities and company continuous improvement initiatives. Stop work on processes as appropriate and contain suspect or defective material or services to avoid further processing. Move levers and press pedals to drive a forklift or other industrial truck equipped with lifting devices. Position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials; hook tow trucks to trailer hitches and transport loads to designated areas. Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device. Move material from location to location within the plant efficiently and on prescribed frequencies. Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed. Weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules. Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices. Recharge batteries or replace liquefied gas tanks. When & Where
This 1st Shift (7:00 AM‑3:00 PM, Monday‑Friday) position is located at our plant in Holland, MI. Occasional early arrivals, late departures, or weekend work may be required to meet customer needs. What You Need To Have
Must be 18 years of age or older. Able to stand for 8‑10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position. High school diploma or GED. One month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous material‑handling work experience preferred. Previous forklift driving experience preferred. High standards of performance and self‑responsibility. Honesty, integrity, and thoroughness in performing job tasks. Ability to resolve conflicts constructively and maintain positive relationships. Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency. Ability to work up to 12 hours per day including Saturday and Sunday. Basic computer skills and safe driving ability. Ability to use feedback to continuously improve performance. Flexibility to move within plant areas as needed. What We Offer
