Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor)
in the area of
Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business , within the
Department of Quantitative Methods in Economics and Management , Faculty of Economics, Business, and Tourism.
Responsibilities
Conduct teaching activities in the Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, covering Mathematics for Economics I, II, III, and IV, and Bayesian Methods.
Integrate into the department’s research lines in applied mathematical and statistical methods, promote scientific output, participate in competitive research projects, and contribute to knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
Degree or Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Economics (with a specialized Master’s/PhD in Mathematics/Statistics).
PhD in a related field.
Spanish language proficiency at least C1 level.
Additional Information
Full‑time contract with teaching and research responsibilities.
Contract period: 4 to 5 years, with possibility of promotion to Associate Professor at the end of the contract if legal requirements and evaluations are met.
Participation in research stays, conferences, and mobility programs (subject to budget availability).
Working conditions and salary in accordance with university regulations and current legislation for teaching and research staff.
