Role Overview:
As the Cult Gaia PR Assistant, you will have an exciting opportunity to join the growing PR/marketing team. This role will provide day-to-day administrative support to the PR team and will assist in all aspects of the PR team with a focus on sample trafficking and reporting. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, possess exceptional communication skills and follow-through, be a quick learner with the ability to demonstrate initiative and adhere to deadlines.
What You Will Do
Coordinate sample pulls and returns, messengers/shipments to ensure samples are tracked and delivered on time, fulfilling warehouse orders, imagery, and editorial requests.
Organize/maintain the press samples, samples database, and storage.
Support the PR Manager on influencer and celebrity gifting.
Monitor all incoming social placements for influencers and celebrities.
Assist PR Coordinator with influencer reporting.
Support the PR Coordinator in credit and press reporting – weekly and monthly clipping reports, initiative, and event recaps.
Work closely with the PR team to update all PR master lists and PR gifting lists, packing/shipping out orders, and tracking influencer placements.
Help grow influencer program, garner influencer relationships for brand. Build & maintain relationships with fashion media, stylists, journalist, editors.
Support with the execution of brand image events such as launch events, influencer events, etc.
Keen understanding and interest in industry-related news.
Assist with any additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
Maintain awareness of the brand’s overall goals and initiatives.
What You Can Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or other related disciplines preferred.
1 year job experience in PR, either agency or in-house (full-time and/or internship experience; fashion PR experience a plus).
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
A positive, high-energy team player who possesses excellent organizational and project management skills, and who can work independently, troubleshoot, and work in a fast-moving, multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines.
Detail-oriented problem solver.
Actively gets tasks done and is driven by a sense of urgency.
Organized with excellent time management skills to deliver maximum impact.
Strong interest in fashion as well as strong knowledge of industry trends.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, Adobe Photoshop Experience.
