Videographer / Video Editor Position Summary
Capstone Wellness is seeking a talented and creative
Videographer / Video Editor
to join our growing marketing department. This role is responsible for capturing, producing, and editing high-quality video content that communicates the mission, services, and impact of all Capstone Wellness subsidiaries — support our growing network of organizations: including Capstone Treatment Center, Vine + Root Counseling, Encounter at New Canaan Ranch, Capstone Traction Program, The Capstone Foundation, and Capstone NeuroCoach. This individual will report directly to the
Director of Marketing & Brand Development
and work closely with the content team, including the Digital Content & Communications Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and Paid Media Specialist, to bring campaigns, stories, and educational content to life through compelling, mission-aligned visual storytelling. Capture high-quality video footage for brand campaigns, interviews, testimonials, trainings, events, and social media content. Conduct on-site and off‑site shoots, ensuring proper lighting, audio, composition, and technical setup. Collaborate with the content team on storyboarding, shot lists, and creative direction. Maintain consistent visual standards, framing, and aesthetics across all Capstone Wellness brands. Video Editing
Edit raw footage into polished, clear, and engaging final videos optimized for multiple platforms (web, social media, paid media, presentations, internal training, etc.). Incorporate graphics, music, transitions, captions, and brand elements according to established guidelines. Organize, label, and archive footage for easy future use. Deliver final edits in required formats and deadlines across multiple ongoing projects. Creative Collaboration
Work closely with the Digital Content & Communications Manager to support social media content needs, short‑form videos, and seasonal campaigns. Partner with the Media Coordinator to align filming schedules, production logistics, and content priorities. Support the Paid Media Specialist by producing creative variations and video assets used in digital ad campaigns. Bring new ideas to the table for improving video quality, storytelling, and creative impact. Equipment & Technical Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all camera, lighting, and audio equipment. Recommend gear that optimizes efficiency for various projects. Ensure footage is backed up, organized, and stored securely. Maintain technical proficiency with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Brand & Mission Alignment
Translate Capstone Wellness’ mission, values, and services into emotionally compelling visual narratives. Uphold a sensitive, client‑centered approach when capturing content on or near program locations. Ensure all video content aligns with brand standards and respects confidentiality guidelines. Qualifications
2–4 years of professional experience in videography, video editing, or multimedia production. Proficiency with professional cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and stabilization gear. Advanced editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong storytelling instincts and ability to edit for clarity, emotion, and pacing. Experience producing both long‑form and short‑form video content. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Motion design or animation experience (After Effects) is a plus. Photography skills are a bonus but not required. Work Model:
