Heavy Equipment Operator

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, excavation, roadwork, and site preparation. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. Perform site preparation, excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling as directed. Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance. Follow project plans, blueprints, and grade specifications to ensure accuracy. Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule. Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA standards, and safety regulations. Report equipment malfunctions, hazards, and maintenance needs promptly. Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator in construction, excavation, or a related field. Valid driver’s license; CDL license a plus. Heavy Equipment Operator certification or relevant training strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of equipment operation, safety practices, and job site procedures. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes. Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
