Forklift Driver
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store products within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports production and shipping needs, and maintains a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload inbound / outbound shipments according to company and safety standards.
Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor.
Perform pallet picks, put‑aways, replenishments, and staging of materials.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Follow inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, including aisles, docks, and storage locations.
Follow all OSHA, safety, and company policies at all times.
Support warehouse team members with general labor tasks when needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain through company training).
1+ year of forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
Skills
Safe forklift operation.
Basic computer or scanner proficiency (RF scanners).
Communication and teamwork.
Time management.
Problem‑solving.
