Job Description The IT Product Manager serves as the strategic bridge between technology solutions and business needs across our enterprise. This role is responsible for defining, delivering, and continuously improving the digital tools and platforms that empower the business. This role ensures the digital ecosystem matures in alignment with the company’s product design, delivery and management evolution, unleashing robust engineering and business practices. As a technology steward, the IT Product Manager must remain adaptive to emerging trends while maintaining practical focus on delivering measurable value. They will champion user experience while ensuring solutions meet rigorous security, compliance, and performance standards.
Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities
Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for applications and data within the digital ecosystem.
Partner closely with business functions to translate capability needs into clear digital product requirements and prioritized features.
Lead the implementation, configuration, integration of digital tools that support the enterprise.
Establish and manage standards, governance, and best practices for how processes, practices and data are leveraged across the enterprise.
Drive adoption and effective use of digital engineering tools through training, change management, and ongoing user support.
Measure and report on ecosystem performance (e.g., tool usage, data quality, integration effectiveness, cycle time impacts) and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Enterprise IT, Cybersecurity, and Data/Integration teams to ensure platforms are secure, reliable, and well-integrated with adjacent systems (PLM, ALM, ERP, document management, etc.).
Manage vendor relationships, licenses, and upgrades for relevant tools, ensuring alignment with long‑term digital engineering strategy.
Develop and manage budgets and resource plans for the digital ecosystem portfolio, balancing new capabilities with sustainment needs.
Serve as a champion for model‑based systems engineering and digital ways of working, helping to mature the organization’s digital capabilities.
Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Job Profile Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
The skills required for this role are typically demonstrated by 10 plus years of relevant experience.
7+ years of experience in IT product management, digital engineering, or related roles, with increasing responsibility.
Demonstrated experience managing or implementing tools for complex engineering and/or business systems.
Proven success defining product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and delivering capabilities in a complex, engineering‑oriented organization.
Strong understanding of high‑tech enterprise business processes.
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving change in processes and tool usage.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Experience working within regulated, safety‑critical, or highly complex product environments is a plus.
