Position Summary The Regional Manager manages the programs, operations, and staff of the Regional Office in accordance with UIC Policies and Procedures and DSCC Administrative Rules, Policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plans, directs, and coordinates Regional Office operations for the provision of services for DSCC clients in compliance with DSCC policies and procedures. Oversees fiscal management of business operations by managing the Regional Office budget and expenditures.
Administers personnel operations for the Regional Office staff, evaluates and manages staffing needs, conducts hiring and training, coordinates staff development, performs performance appraisals, and adjusts workload for optimal efficiency.
Promotes DSCC initiatives, collaboration, and integrated services, engages staff in interagency initiatives, provides management input regarding DSCC programs and policies, and serves on committees.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
Five years of professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience.
Master’s degree may substitute for one year of work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, or other related field.
At least two years of professional level experience, including one at an administrative level.
