Senior Software Engineer — Full Stack, Video Platform
to help build and scale the core video platform that powers our deeply technical product at the intersection of AI and logistics. You’ll take the lead on implementing the systems that manage video recording, storage, retrieval, and streaming — ensuring reliability, scalability, and great developer experience across the stack. This is a hands‑on role focused on
building . You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship production features quickly, while helping shape the engineering standards and technical culture of the company. You’ll set an example for others through high‑quality code, thoughtful design decisions, and pragmatic problem solving. We’ve found a ton of value and upside in spending time together, so our team works from our SF and NYC offices three days a week. If you’re excited by full‑stack development, video systems, and making an impact in a fast‑moving startup environment, we’d love to talk. Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain full‑stack features with a focus on video ingestion, streaming, and management. Collaborate with product and design to translate ideas into working, user‑visible functionality. Own key components of the video pipeline, including APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure. Implement monitoring, metrics, and alerting to ensure reliable operation of video systems. Mentor other engineers by demonstrating strong technical execution and good engineering habits. Help evolve best practices around testing, CI/CD, and code quality as we grow. Evaluate and contribute to technical decisions that improve scalability and developer productivity. Required Experience
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional experience building scalable, user‑facing applications. Proven track record of shipping production SaaS, preferably video‑related products. Full‑stack experience — strong proficiency in backend (Python, C++, or similar) and frontend (Typescript/React or similar). Direct experience with video streaming technologies (e.g., HLS/DASH, WebRTC, RTSP) and media storage/distribution. Comfort working with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure to deliver end‑to‑end functionality. Experience in early‑stage environments where you’ve worn multiple hats and made pragmatic trade‑offs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Exposure to computer vision, machine learning, or analytics in operational domains is a plus. Bonus points if you have experience working with different video container formats and compression algorithms. Equal Opportunity Statement
We’re an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion. We welcome teammates of all backgrounds and don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. Benefits
At Claryo, we offer a competitive benefits package that supports your health and well‑being, including top‑tier medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k with employer matching, parental leave, and unlimited vacation.
