Responsibilities
Implement and assure all company safety programs and policies are followed.
Track and maintain all shipping related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity, quality, and service level goals are exceeded.
Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate/review staff as required.
Oversee warehouse supervisors and direct tasks and projects.
Monitor and administer all backorders and substitutions.
Promptly communicate backorders to customer service.
Daily verification and reconciliation of ERP system including finished goods and raw materials.
Oversee all warehouses spend and variances.
Coordinate and manage cycle count and physical inventory process.
Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and functional.
Order all materials and supplies for the warehouse and shipping department.
Lead yearly reviews and goal setting for all direct and indirect reports.
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in distribution, logistics, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Strong computer literacy with Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Internet along with Warehouse Management System.
Experience operating forklift equipment (preferred).
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and work ethics.
Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
