Assistant Professor – Accounting
Applicants are invited to join the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a tenure‑track Assistant Professor beginning September 2026.
Position Overview The role focuses on research in behavioral finance or archival audit, with additional expertise in other accounting research areas welcomed. Candidates who complement the department’s current research portfolio are especially encouraged.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Accounting by September 2026 (or expected completion)
Expertise or evident potential in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across both face‑to‑face and online modalities
Evidence of or potential for publishing in top research journals
Strong research background that complements existing faculty
Additional qualifications in related accounting research areas are welcome
Salary Salary range: $79,350 to $245,000.
