The Role As
Plant Controller , you will serve as the
primary financial partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team , playing a critical role in guiding manufacturing performance, improving processes, and supporting profitable growth. This is a highly visible role for a finance professional who enjoys being
hands‑on in a manufacturing environment
and making a real impact.
What You’ll Do
Act as a
trusted business partner
to site leadership, providing clear financial insights and recommendations
Lead
forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis , ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Own the
month‑end close , balance sheet integrity, and internal controls for the plant
Drive
cost transparency and margin improvement
through strong cost accounting practices
Lead annual
standard cost development
Support manufacturing planning, S&OP, and operational decision‑making
Improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls in a complex organization
Coach, train, and influence both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
Promote a
safe, environmentally responsible workplace

Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years in a
manufacturing plant environment
as a Cost Accountant or Plant Controller
Strong cost accounting knowledge
ERP system experience (SAP, QAD, Oracle, or similar)
Proven ability to lead forecasting, budgeting, and month‑end close
Preferred
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
CPA
Corporate finance or operational analysis experience
