COMPANY DESCRIPTION Impact Housing is quickly becoming the most active developer of housing in Southern California, by deploying our mission-driven, vertically integrated housing production and activation model. We are scaling our company to build and activate high volumes of unsubsidized new housing that is affordable to moderate- and low-income households, and in so doing, help solve Southern California’s housing crisis. The company currently has several San Diego projects under construction and in the development process and is on track to build 10,000 apartment units in San Diego this decade.

SUMMARY OF POSITION The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for daily receiving and entering invoices from vendors and in house clients into our computer systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and reconciling accounts. verification of Federal ID numbers.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.
Other related duties assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
Experience with NetSuite required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
High school diploma required, A degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven experience working in accounts payable or bookkeeping roles, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
COMPENSATION
Competitive salary range $25-30 hourly depending on experience.
