Complete post-award financial activities for industry-sponsored clinical and non-clinical research projects, including award activations, cost transfers, journal entries, labor and non-labor cost redistributions, budget reallocations, and budget booking in PeopleSoft. Analyze fully executed agreements and negotiated budgets, interpret sponsor obligations, and determine appropriate actions in collaboration with the Fiscal Supervisor and Industry Contracts team. Prepare clinical research budgets, administer necessary project payments, and track ongoing financial performance throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and analyze award funding reports, monitor project financial performance, and recommend corrective actions to study team leadership. Ensure compliance with Fred Hutch policies and sponsor requirements, identify potential compliance issues, and recommend appropriate actions to team leadership. Present complex financial information in a clear manner that supports strategic decision making. Gather data, analyze information, develop conclusions, and communicate recommendations effectively to all levels within the organization. Prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes while coordinating with teammates and other stakeholders. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Two years of experience providing fiscal program coordination, preferably in an academic or research environment. Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with grants and contracts in a research environment. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft for grants and financial management. Experience preparing, negotiating, and managing clinical trial budgets. Strong analytical skills with high-level attention to detail and professionalism. The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $114,940, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position is not eligible for H‑1B sponsorship at this time.
