Key Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
Conduct tax projections and planning for clients to optimize financial outcomes
Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations
Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously
Collaborate with peers and partners to deliver high-quality client service
Develop relationships with clients through proactive communication and advisory support
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in tax preparation workflows
Qualifications Needed
Active CPA License required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience focused on tax preparation
Strong background preparing returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
Experience with privately held businesses and individual clients
Industry experience in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, or small business a plus
Experience with trusts, estates, and nonprofit (990) returns is beneficial
Proven ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment
