The following position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.
This is an in‑house role, and the candidate can work from either Marinette, WI or Lubbock, TX.
Responsibilities
Work in the Continuous Improvement & Analytics team to support the customer service department.
Attend the office 5 days per week, supporting the US, Canada and Latin America regions; hours may vary based on business needs.
Travel 5% of the time to visit partner factories for improvement initiatives.
Execute all administrative tasks related to Johnson Controls Fire Suppression parts and products.
Provide positive written and verbal interaction with customers.
Utilize data mining, statistical and exploratory data analysis to answer business questions.
Develop manual and automated scorecards and dashboards using internal and external data marts.
Recommend data standardization practices to ensure repeatability and reusability of data products.
Design visualizations that answer business questions and publish quality analytics, including weekly, monthly and yearly dashboards with KPIs.
Develop an AI integration platform/tool within customer service.
Improve department reporting and consistency.
Qualifications
BS in business or a related field.
At least 4 years total experience in continuous improvement / data analytics.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Database, Data Model and Data Warehouse.
Experience in Kaizen facilitation and continuous improvement techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
Knowledge of Dimensional Modelling, Data Mart and different data modelling techniques.
Strong experience with PowerBI, DAX queries, Snowflake, PostgreSQL and Tableau.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salesforce experience.
Preferred: 2+ years leading or facilitating process improvements.
Preferred: Experience building reports, KPI scorecards and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
Preferred: Understanding of PowerBI Workspace and Administration.
Preferred: Experience creating datasets, transformations, dataflows and measure calculations on PowerBI.
Preferred: Experience transforming data through SQL queries.
Preferred: A passion for all things data, including analytics and translating data into informative reports and visuals.
Preferred: SAP/JDE experience.
Salary & Location Salary range: $76,000 - $95,000. Location: Lubbock, Texas.
