Job Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Complete orientation and training on the job.

Communicate clearly with customers and co‑workers – both verbally and in writing.

Provide correct written instructions.

Process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions & Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).

Make correct monetary change.

Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.

Sudden temperature changes in the work area and while outside.

Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust.

Cramped quarters including a walk‑in cooler.

Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements

Standing

– most tasks require standing; walking for short distances.

Walking

– short distances for short durations on ceramic tile or linoleum.

Sitting

– paperwork completed in an office at a desk or table.

Lifting

– bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) unloaded by hand truck; cases stacked up to 72" high.

Carrying

– large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), trays of dough (12 lb each).

Pushing/Pulling

– trays on dollies (24‑30”, 7.5 lb push force).

Climbing

– infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder for maintenance.

Stooping/Bending

– forward bending at waist at the pizza assembly station; repeated continuously during the day.

Crouching/Squatting

– occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.

Reaching

– up, down, forward, and above 72" to turn on/off oven controls.

Hand Tasks

– eye‑hand coordination for shaping dough, using a pizza peel, rolling cutter, and assembling boxes.

Tools & Equipment

– use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Strong communication skills – verbal and written.

Basic math skills – quick computation of change.

Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry.
