Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Training
Orientation and training provided on the job. Communication Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Essential Functions / Skills
Quick, accurate arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). May use calculator. Make correct monetary change. Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes may occur. Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces, tools from ovens up to 500 °F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Sensing
Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments

Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces are ceramic tile bricks with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces ranges from 36 in to 48 in. Walking:
Generally short distances for short durations. Sitting:
Paperwork is normally completed on a desk or table. Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb, up to 3 × 1.5 ft). Cases stacked onto shelves up to 72 in high. Carrying:
Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz) to storage shelves; pizza sauce (≈30 lb) from storage to front; trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb each) three at a time over short distances. Pushing:
Trays on dollies (approx 24‑30 lb) require up to 7.5 lb force. Climbing:
Infrequent navigation of stairs or climbing a ladder for price changes, wall washing, maintenance. Stooping/Bending:
Forward bending at waist in pizza assembly station (~30‑45 s at a time, repeated). Also front counter and stocking ingredients. Crouching/Squatting:
Occasional when stocking shelves or cleaning low areas. Additional Job Details
Reaching:
Continuously up, down, and forward. Reach above 72 in to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift or lower objects to and from shelves. Reach down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes. Reach forward to obtain topping ingredients, clean work surfaces, or answer phones. Hand Tasks:
Eye‑hand coordination essential. Hands used continuously. Manipulate pizza dough, use pizza peel, rolling cutter. Pinch in assembly of cardboard pizza boxes. Must grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, peel, boxes. Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids:
