Classification Title: OPS Communications Assistant Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Description: • Production of three newsletters • Maintenance of marketing contacts and mailing lists • Preparation for tradeshows and other company appearances • Creation of social media graphics and posts and maintenance of social media calendar • Creation of content for customer, lead, and credential earner communications • Other duties as assigned $15/Hourly Required Qualifications: • Understanding of basic marketing/public relations principles • Some relevant marketing, public relations, or communications work experience • Eye for detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills (including spelling, punctuation, and grammar) • Ability to prioritize, organize, and coordinate work assignments independently • Working knowledge of email, search engines, and MS Office • Firm grasp of LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook Preferred: • Graphic design experience, familiarity with Canva • General scientific and/or bioscience knowledge • Experience using a CRM system Special Instructions to Applicants: In order to be considered, applicants must provide a cover letter and resume.
