Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift – Danfoss
Danfoss Hydraulics Division is seeking a 2nd SHIFT Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team at the Van Wert, Ohio facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
Master, implement, and retain new techniques, concepts, and procedures essential for the ongoing enhancement of products, processes, services, deliveries, and overall quality.
Thoroughly read and interpret blueprints, control plans, routers, job instructions, and measurement tools.
Remain adaptable to shift between work areas to fulfill customer delivery expectations and achieve plant productivity targets, working efficiently to set standards with minimal supervision.
Operate PLC, PC, and CNC controls proficiently as required for maintenance tasks.
Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing devices, moving machinery, and construction equipment.
Construct, rebuild, and troubleshoot repairs on all facility machinery in accordance with company standards.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required.
Completion of a Federal or State Certified Multi-Craft Maintenance or Machine Repair Apprenticeship, or at least 3–5 years of verified experience in the trade.
Skilled in electro-hydraulic troubleshooting with the ability to read and interpret ladder logic diagrams.
Familiarity with Total Productive Manufacturing philosophy. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Notepad.
Self‑motivated and reliable, with strong planning and organizational skills.
