We have an opportunity for a Master Scheduler to join our collaborative and customer-oriented team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As a master scheduler, you have the very unique opportunity to help shape the business, as your work will directly impact sales, cash flow, and cost. You will get to work with all facets of the Enterprise; manufacturing, quality, sales, value stream leaders, material & supply. What You Will Do

Manage end‑item master production schedules, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring top‑level products through the complete production cycle.

Coordinate and lead the new products transition process and top‑level material planning. Ensure that all material and planning parameters accurately reflect manufacturing capability to meet demand.

Collaborate with Order Administration and Sales Planning Analysts to resolve customer sales order exceptions.

Process short‑lead‑time requests from a variety of customers.

Analyze business processes and generate improvement ideas with implementation plans.

Lead projects and lean events to improve internal business processes.

Own impact on manufacturing performance to MPS, and on‑time delivery to the customer.

Maintain ongoing relationships with key customers.

Support customers on drop‑in requirements while protecting the business from failures caused by over‑commitments.

Engage through the entire Sales and Operations planning process. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Marketing, and VSL through the Sales Forecast process and facilitation of the Supply, Planning and Execution process.

Own responsibilities with minimal day‑to‑day direction.

Effectively communicate with and influence management and personnel from across the enterprise.

Serve as an "expert on call" and prime contact to management on scheduling discipline matters.

Conduct training sessions with ERP users to expand MRP knowledge across Operations. Recognize business process issues and implement solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have

University degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

Advanced MS Excel skills including INDEX/ MATCH, X‑LOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF & COUNTIF, and CONCATENATE functions.

5+ years of experience as a master scheduler in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications We Prefer

Aerospace or avionics manufacturing experience.

SAP experience.

Data analytics experience.

Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve operational goals.

Self‑directed; strong planning and organizational skills and able adapt to changing priorities and assignments.

Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
