This role is located at our Williamson, NY location.
This position will support our facility on 1st shift, Monday‑Friday 7 AM‑3:30 PM.

Base pay range $27.50/hr – $29.50/hr
What We Need The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient warehouse operations through the timely receipt, movement, and documentation of materials using SAP and related systems. Key accountabilities include managing the daily dock schedule, inspecting freight, labeling materials according to regulatory standards (e.g., allergens, Halal, Kosher), and communicating effectively with cross‑functional teams such as Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Customer Service and Production. This position also supports continuous improvement initiatives, assists with audits, special projects, and freight claims, and ensures operational continuity through shift handoffs and professional communication. Proficiency in forklift operation, warehouse layout knowledge, and the use of tools such as SAP and Microsoft Power BI are essential. Safety, compliance, and collaboration are central to success in this role.
What You Will Do
Evaluate and manage the daily warehouse dock schedule including use of Acuity or related scheduling systems
Manage driver check‑in process and communication with outside transportation companies
Receive and evaluate carrier paperwork for inbound validation (Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis, Packing Slips)
Assist with delivery of incoming goods ordered through SAP
Accurately complete all required paperwork and SAP transactions for the receipt and movement of materials throughout the warehouse
Have effective knowledge of racking naming convention & warehouse layout (allergen areas, organic areas, Halal, Kosher, various racking layouts)
Complete special projects assigned by warehouse manager or supervisor (examples include assisting finance with year‑end audit, bin realignment, warehouse strategy items, etc.)
Operate forklifts and other equipment as necessary following BRF safety procedures. Maintain awareness of pedestrian traffic, dock, and racking conditions while operating equipment
Communicate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Production, and other functional areas regarding any issues that impact the timely receipt or transfer of materials as scheduled
Document and address any errors in receiving paperwork, procedures, or SAP transactions. Provide the next shift with any information required to ensure a smooth shift and continued operation
Be knowledgeable of customer scheduling requirements and related customer portals
Inspect freight and trailer conditions and complete associated paperwork. Take corrective actions as required to ensure delivery of freight is in acceptable condition by following shipping and receiving SOPs and documented inspection procedures
Ensure proper labeling of material including pallet tags, allergen labels, halal, organic, per our process and food safety guidelines
Update Yard Check sheets and coordinate trailer traffic at the facility
Per established standard operating procedures, receive vendor purchase orders, receive, and transfer interplant products. Physically locate product in storage locations and complete corresponding SAP transactions
Assist in processing small parcel and sample shipments as needed
Ensure that written and verbal communications are professional and responses to emails are sent timely
Follow all BRF Safety procedures and GMPs
What You Need To Be Successful
High School Diploma, or GED required
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including inventory control, receiving, shipping, or related warehouse operations required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) for daily reporting and communication
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with staff at all organizational levels
2–3 years of relevant experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred
Strong mathematical skills for accurate inventory tracking, order processing, and shipment management
Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse, or manufacturing environment
Ability to multi‑task in a fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend directions in English and communicate with other employees in English as part of regular job duties
Must be able and willing to learn transactions in our ERP system, SAP S/4Hana to ensure accurate data entry and process adherence
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and be exposed to potential wet/humid conditions, heat and a moderate level of noise
