Position Summary Performs preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoots issues, and carries out repair tasks on our industrial production equipment and building infrastructure to maintain optimal working conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Safety compliance: Follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Preventive maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns.

Troubleshooting and repairs: Diagnose and repair production equipment and infrastructure systems.

Root‑cause analysis: Conduct analysis on machine failures to implement corrective actions.

Documentation: Log maintenance activities, including repairs, modifications, and preventive measures.

Communication: Effectively communicate equipment status, repair progress, and maintenance needs to team members and other departments.

Continuous improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance process efficiency.

Collaboration: Build partnerships with internal departments and external vendors.

Training: Engage in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge.

Teamwork: Work individually or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.

Respond to cleanup of blood‑borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.

Demonstrated proficiency as Associate Maintenance Technician.

Ability to perform tasks on a wide variety of and more complex production equipment independently or with minimal supervision.

Collaborate with peers for knowledge sharing and skill development opportunities, taking on more complex troubleshooting responsibilities.

Participate in rotating on‑call duties when assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience in a prior maintenance position, 3 years of experience or more.

Broad understanding of industrial maintenance systems and repair.

Ability to effectively troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs independently or as part of a team.

Knowledge of mechanical systems such as industrial pumps, motors (AC/DC), pneumatic/hydraulic components, gearboxes, bearings, chains/belts, etc.

Familiarity with electrical control components (e.g., breakers, relays, switches).

Basic understanding of plumbing systems; PLC‑controlled systems preferred.

Ability to operate forklifts/scissor lifts, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

The target hourly range is $27.00 – $34.00, depending on qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit‑sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
