The Production Clerk provides clerical support to production supervisors and management.
Job Responsibilities
Calculate/summarize daily production paperwork for supervisor/management review.
Maintain employee attendance and timekeeping records.
Distribute production schedules to line personnel.
Review production documentation and maintains accurate reports.
Utilize functions such as Word, Excel, SAP, etc.
Maintain accurate and complete files.
Work with management to provide any kind of clerical support needed.
Communication effectively.
All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the states safety policies and procedures.
All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our Quality Food Program.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED.
General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
Ability to handle multiples tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve,
Basic computer skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience with Microsoft Windows applications.
Kronos experience.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting.
Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35°F to 100°F; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
