Physical Requirements
Standing : Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in some food‑process areas; work surfaces range from 36” to 48” high.
Walking : Short distances and brief durations; delivery personnel travel between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
Sitting : Paperwork is normally completed at a desk or table.
Lifting : Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb) are unloaded with a hand truck; cases may be stacked up to 72” high.
Carrying : Light items (e.g., 3 lb cans) are carried to storage shelves; heavier items (e.g., pizza sauce, dough trays) are handled during delivery.
Pushing/Pulling : Trays on dollies require up to 7.5 lb force; trays may also be pulled.
Climbing : Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes.
Stooping/Bending : Forward bending at the waist is required at the pizza assembly station; repeated regularly throughout the day.
Crouching/Squatting : Occasionally performed to stock shelves or clean low areas.
Reaching : Continuous reaching above 72” for oven controls, price changes, and shelf access.
Driving : Deliver pizzas within a designated area using a company vehicle; valid driver’s license and safe‑driving record required.
