Job Overview Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom and are required to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.
Responsibilities
Unload trucks and handle new freight.
Stock items in the backroom according to company standards.
Ensure accurate inventory and product placement.
Follow safety procedures and use heavy machinery as required.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
Ability to lift heavy objects of 50+ pounds.
Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Additional Compensation Includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
