Maintenance Technician – Jerome, Idaho

Overview We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Jerome, Idaho facility, maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Compensation $28.00 per hour
Available Shift 7 am-7 pm (rotating days and nights every 28 days, 2-2-3 schedule)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Repair, replace, or install various power transmission systems and components including electrical and mechanical devices such as gears, pulleys, sprockets, belts, bearings, drive shafts, and couplings.
Repair, replace, or install various pneumatic systems and components including air lines, cylinders, valves, solenoids, pipe, manifolds and pneumatic circuits.
Repair, replace, or install various single and three‑phase electrical systems and components such as motors, switches, wiring, conduit motor starters, fuses, light bulbs, encoders and circuit breakers.
Repair, replace, or install various hydraulic systems and components including cylinders, pumps, valves, solenoids, motors, hoses, pipe and manifolds.
Safely use a variety of maintenance tools and equipment.
Fluently read and use multimeters to identify voltage presence.
Interpret wiring schematics to troubleshoot issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot automation equipment.
Qualifications
Eligible to work in the United States.
Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screen.
Performs the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance position preferred.
Electrical training/experience with 480 V, 3-phase/machine controls.
Experience with VFD drives and PLCs preferred.
Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures required.
Forklift experience helpful.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to safety and continuous learning.
Satisfactory completion of required training courses as determined by management.
