Part Time Seasonal Snow Plow Operator The Champaign County Highway Department has multiple openings for part time seasonal snowplow operators to plow snow on the county highways for the 2025-2026 snowplow season.
Work hours will vary based on snowfall and need. Champaign County operates snow removal equipment 24 hours a day/7 days a week on 12 hour split shifts until the roads are clear. Operators may plow at night, during the day and on weekends depending on need.
Applicants must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsement. Snow plowing experience is desired, but not required.
Snowplow operator’s wages will be $28/hour.
