Patient Service Representative – Cardio
role. This position supports front‑office operations in a physician office dedicated to cardiology services.

Key Responsibilities
Adhere to the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources.
Follow the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.
Demonstrate support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program and report compliance issues timely.
Greet patients entering the physician practice.
Answer office phones, make and confirm appointments, and reschedule when necessary.
Check in patients, collect accurate demographics, enter data into the electronic system, and verify insurance.
Assist with checkout, including processing co‑pays, posting charges, and patient balance processing.
Help patients with referral processing, scheduling, and enrollment in the patient portal.
Distribute information about office policies, procedures, and practice details.

Qualifications
High‑school diploma or GED required; completion of a medical office assistant program preferred.
Preferred healthcare management/administration certification.
Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
