Back Half Nights – 6pm-630am

Job Overview The Milk Receiver plays a key role in executing assigned production tasks. This includes setting up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Inspects incoming raw milk deliveries from tanker trucks, checking documentation and verifying quantity and quality parameters before unloading.

Collects milk samples from each delivery for testing to ensure it meets safety standards, including tests for temperature, antibiotics, bacteria count, and composition.

Operates pumps, valves, and transfer equipment to safely unload milk from transport tankers into the facility's storage silos or receiving tanks.

Maintains detailed records of all milk receipts, including supplier information, volumes received, test results, and any quality issues or rejections.

Cleans and sanitizes receiving equipment, hoses, connections, and work areas to maintain strict hygiene standards and prevent contamination.

Communicates with truck drivers, laboratory staff, and production supervisors to coordinate deliveries, report quality concerns, and ensure smooth workflow throughout the receiving process.

Min. Qualifications

A minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required; Associate degree in chemistry, biology, food science or ag-tech science preferred.

6 months – 2 years of manufacturing/machine operation experience in dairy/food industry preferred.

SQF or similar quality systems experience preferred.
