Position Details Forklift Driver Starting Pay: $22.68 Shift: 2nd or 3rd Work Environment: Onsite, non‑climate controlled

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and procedures and actively participate in the plant’s safety culture

Load/unload production machines, trailers, and hazmat materials utilizing Thors and onboard computers

Perform safety inspections for trailers, docks, and dock plates

Utilize proper PPE for forklift safety checks and changing propane tanks

Inspect pallets for excessive debris and structural issues

Alert Machine Operators to product quality issues

Maintain housekeeping and organization in the workspace

Perform various other duties as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing or production setting

Knowledge of scanning systems

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English

Ability to read materials to understand and apply content, such as instruction manuals and procedure manuals

Understanding of how to read shipping tags and shipping manifests

Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math

Must wear safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection and other safety gear as required (we will provide any necessary PPE)

Ability sit/drive continuously with occasional walking, kneeling, crouching, squatting, bending, climbing, and grasping

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Ability to work in an uncontrolled temperature environment (hot or cold)

Experience moving units without pallets preferred
