Position Title:
Maintenance Technician (HVAC) 1.0 FTE Full-time (40 hrs) day shift, on-call responsibilities
Location:
Upland Hills Health
Role & Department:
Maintenance Technician in our Plant Operations department
Hours & Shift:
Full-time (1.0 FTE) day shift position, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities
Role Responsibilities
Perform maintenance duties to provide an efficient, safe, and cost-effective environment of care for patients, visitors, staff, and providers at UHH
Work will include HVAC, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywalling, and general maintenance for all UHH owned and operated facilities
Building controls experience is preferred
Routine work order completions
Mechanical system preventative maintenance
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills
On-call responsibilities (rotation)
This position will report to the Facilities Director.
Handling inquiries both on the phone and in-person
Performs other duties as assigned/other miscellaneous building maintenance as needed
Qualifications
Candidates must have the ability to conduct physical work
Prior HVAC and building controls certifications, licenses or experience is highly preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Past education in the HVAC or industrial maintenance field is very beneficial
Must have general knowledge and past experiences with mechanical and carpentry repairs
Must be very independent, organized, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
